I just realized it’s been a very long time since I wrote a blog post… it’s so easy to get wrapped up in life and forget about small tasks like this. Of course I’m going to say I’m going to do better about the frequency of these posts, and I genuinely want to, but my mind takes me 20 different directions all day, so if I’m being honest… let’s hope that I remember to put it on my calendar.

Okay, so… down to business.

Since the last post I released a new line last Fall (epic fail not blogging about it…) called In Bloom. It’s full of whimsical, but slightly edgy, nature inspired pieces. It’s beautiful and gained me my first award – 3rd place at the Summit Art Fest.

The holiday/show season was insane as usual, but I survived another year working it alone with some temporary help here and there.

I’m planning on releasing a new line sometime this Spring. I was originally hoping for early spring, but an injury to my hand may have delayed that release date. We shall see, and when the date is determined, I’ll be sure to post about it. If you follow me on social media (instagram, twitter, Facebook) you’ve seen the posts of my sketches for it. It’s called Midas, and will be closely related to the In Bloom in the respect that it’s nature inspired, too, but this new line will have accents of 18k yellow gold in the pieces.

I also have 2 more lines in the works. One you’ve seen posts from, I just don’t have it organized into a proper line, but it will be called Formed and will have all of the electroformed pieces in it.

The other is a simple, minimalist inspired line called Hammered that will feature hammered textures on the surfaces.

To make room for all of these new lines, I’m announcing that I will be retiring the Prong & Raw line. Once on hand inventory is sold out, there will not be more made. ***Stockists – I will work with you on phasing this line out and replacing the work with suitable pieces.

I attended the Mock Jury that the ST Louis Art Fair puts on, and got some good feedback on my application presentation. I’ll be working on remodeling my booth a little bit to bring it up to par with the “big” artists. Keep an eye out on social media for those photos!

*If you’ve made it this far, congrats!*
Despite my passion for what I do – I’m not all work and no play…

Current things happening in my life: I just turned 30 last month, wooooo! My toddler loves to “help” me, and has her own set of pliers and beads. And, we just survived a bathroom remodel in our cute little house. (It was truly an eye opening experience!)

Until next time, y’all!
